“ Stopped in on a Saturday. They have 2 rooms for seating . Nice decor, waitress was nice and friendly... the prices were very fair and cheap for the amount of food you get. Got the chopped pork and brisket. Sides were good as well greenbeans and beans and roll were all good. Would go back for sure. ”
“ Found this place on the way back from a work training. I have to say that it was the best decision we made. It's small but the atmosphere was great. You could smell the pit smoke as soon as you got out of the truck. The ladies at the counter were so helpful and pleasant. The chopped BBQ was perfect. It wasn't dry, but not swimming in sause. The potato salad was almost as good as Mamaw's ( it was better, but I can't say that too loud).great hush puppies and get the extra BBQ sauce to dip them in. I didn't notice the banana pudding till we were leaving. So I had to get one to go. Let me tell you, it made the rest of the trip so much better. 10/10 would recommend Back Country Barbeque to anyone. ”

“ Wow I have tried every single bbq place in Lexington and nothing has compared to this. The chopped bbq was super tender and moist (didn’t even need the extra dip I ordered) I find that most bbq places have very dry bbq and I drown it in dip to be able to pass it down but man this bbq was melt in your mouth. My mother in law said the same, we all got the chopped plate, everything was delicious and fresh. Hush puppies were hot and not soaked in oil like most places, my husband got a side of potato salad and man it was the best potato salad we’ve had. Overall I was very very impressed with the quality of the food. This was my first time trying this location being that it’s the only bbq place open on Sunday and it’s by far my favorite bbq place in Lexington! I will be going back! For 3 plates, 3 drinks and an extra side it was 40 ”
“ Waitresses are on point. The delicious food was out quickly, and we enjoyed every bite. There are about 20 cords of hickory wood in the old barn out back, so you know how authentic it tastes! I enjoyed a coarse chopped plate with bbq slaw, sweet potato casserole with a side of hush puppies. Hubby had the big beef brisket sandwich with baked beans and fries. Banana pudding was for dessert. We are already discussing our return trip. ”
